New rumor continues to claim that the Touch ID will be located on the back of the iPhone 8

The great fear we have all Apple users is that next September, the company will present a revolutionary iPhone 8 with the Touch ID on the back. The future iPhone 8 would have OLED display and wireless charging, but we do not know where the Touch ID will be located, whether integrated in the front or the back under the apple, or included in the apple itself.

Touch ID on the back of the iPhone 8, advance or delay?

A few weeks ago we announced something that almost nobody liked the Apple world, the Touch ID could be included in the back of the new terminal . This is because the engineers could not find a way to include this fingerprint sensor on the front of the device built into the OLED display.

A new report has been released on the network by CLSA analysts Sebastian Hou and Brian Chen , reinforcing this concept that has not satisfied anyone. Here is an excerpt from this report:

Both Samsung and Apple tried to disable the fingerprint sensor on the OLED screens of the terminals of 2017, but its optical technology seems immature and the main problem of the iPhone 8. Some so speculate that the fingerprint sensor will be removed and replaced by 3D detection. Our latest supply chain controls indicate that the iPhone 8 will still have the sensor for the security it gives, ease of use, and a need for payment infrastructure, but there is a high probability that it will be in the back as in the Samsung S8 Galaxy.

As you can read, according to this report, the Touch ID would be eliminated by 3D detection but not by 2017. This is because this technology to replace the Touch ID is not fully mature. That is why there is a high probability that the sensor is included in the back of the device, because the company would not have enough technology to include it in the front, integrated with the OLED panel.

In the diagram proposed by CLSA, we find the Touch ID under the apple characteristic . In addition, we also find a camera in vertical, something common in all the rumors that we have seen until now. Regarding the size we would see, according to CLSA, an iPhone 8 greater to the iPhone 7, but smaller the iPhone 7 Plus.
