Foxconn continues to work to make iPhone screens manufactured in the US

A long time ago, for economic and other reasons, many large corporations decided to start a process of relocation to Asian countries. This, to a large extent , benefited the economies of countries such as China (not so much for people) that they suddenly saw how the investments of these giants were directed at them and not at the Western countries. However, and as I suppose you know, he did not like the latter very much.

Now the US has a president who will try to bother as much as possible to American companies that use these practices , all in order to defend American employment. That is why not a few companies have already prepared or are preparing their strategies to meet the demands of the new president. Among them are both Apple and Foxconn.

Trying to avoid possible future problems with the American government

We have already told you that Foxconn plays a key role in the production of many of Apple's products , among many other technology companies. Therefore , given the size of Apple, it is convenient to move certain facilities to the US in order to avoid future problems with the Trump government. One of them, will be responsible for the manufacture of LCD panels of products such as iPhone or iPad.

However, the procedure to follow to build a plant of this type is not a fast process, so the company has recalled in one of its last statements that they are still working on it. In addition, they indicate that it is not easy for them, since the government has not yet succeeded in solving some of the requirements presented by Foxconn, which includes, for example, the need for specialized labor.
