Automatic alternative text, is a new algorithm developed by the company in order to generate a description of a published photo, using advances in technology object recognition. People accustomed to using text readers iOS devices screen normally would hear only the name of the person who has shared the photo, followed by the term "picture" when you meet with a picture on the wall news.
Well, now Facebook can provide a richer description in details of what is in the picture with this new algorithm developed. This is made possible by the technology object recognition Facebook, based on a neural network that has millions of parameters and examples.
